The Monmouth cap (Welsh: Cap Trefynwy) is a distinctive woollen headpiece that gained popularity from the 15th to 18th centuries. Associated with the historic town of Monmouth in South East Wales, this cap features a unique shape, often adorned with intricate patterns.
